We ran right through the stop sign at the end of 2022 and headed straight down the road to all that's ahead for 2023.

 

Reflection brings good thoughts looking backward and forward. 2022 brought us new lifelong friends and we look forward to more in the coming year. The rewarding part of our real estate business is to have reviews like this one from Guy and Linda.

 

“My husband, Guy and I met Freda and Steve Cooper through friends who were selling their home and moving.  We were thinking of selling "at the right time", and while doing business with Freda in downsizing to be ready, we talked to Steve about the Asheville/Fairview housing market.

 

Having spoken to realtors in 2021 and earlier in 2022, we felt their assessments were low and we still wanted to  "wait". With Steve's comprehensive and knowledgeable presentation to us, he upgraded our status to that of a higher selling category, enabling us to consider selling above the previous estimates.  Steve became our Real Estate Agent.

 

Steve then kept us apprised of how the market was acting, answered hundreds of questions, kept tabs on us while we were selling, eliminating, giving away, and packing our belongings - all in 3 weeks. His advice of listing our home as, "listing, not available for sale yet" brought in a number of inquiries. When our home went on the market, we received a full-price, cash offer immediately, along with a few other offers. We waited to see what else might appear, but all others didn't come close to the asking price.

 

About this time the market was showing signs of cooling off and at this point the original buyers renewed their offer, which we accepted, after Steve's advising us it was probably going to be the best one.  When it came time to pass papers, Steve arranged the lawyer and came with us to make sure everything was handled correctly.

 

Steve was there to talk us through hiring transport, a packing (and, on the other end, an unpacking) crew, where to buy the best packing materials, and anything else we hadn't thought of in our move.  On moving day, 

Steve came to offer support and encouragement. The new owners were moving in in two days, so Guyon and I had a half-day to go through the house a last time before we left it.  Steve then arranged for the house to have a thorough cleaning, allowing us to leave without a worry.

 

He was with us every step of our home selling process, making it a doable, less stressful experience.  His care of his clients is exceptional, an A-1 service representing Keller-Williams.”
